Predictive driving (7h) is the only mandatory training for further training (35h) for professional drivers.
Legislation on the carriage of lorries and buses requires professional qualifications on the one hand of a driver in professional traffic. Maintaining professional qualifications requires 35 hours of further training from the driver over a period of five years, which can be completed in periods. The only mandatory topic in further training is proactive and environmentally friendly driving training (7 hours). Other professional qualification courses are part of our first aid, emergency first aid and occupational safety courses. The aim of the predictive driving course is that the driver is able to identify risks, anticipate and avoid dangerous situations, and to make his own driving safer.
The predictive driving course is intended for professional drivers in need of further training in the professional qualifications of lorry and bus drivers. The course is also suitable for ordinary motorists who want to improve their own and others' road safety by honing their own skills. The predictive driving course also supports the learning of a new motorist and is also great for even more experienced drivers.
Proactive driving training is maintained according to the training program "Proactive driving – Keep leeway". The training is considered class education, supplemented by discussions, group work and exercises. The training does not include practical driving training.
