Basic First Aid 16h is a basic first aid course that goes through the basic first aid skills and knowledge that each of us should have.
The Occupational Safety and Health Act requires the maintenance of a first aid kit in the workplace, which includes not only the appropriate equipment but also first aid trained personnel. Those who successfully complete the first aid course will receive a first aid card and certificate valid for three (3) years. It is possible to obtain a certificate of professional competence for some of the courses. The course lasts two days, 16 hours in total. After the 16 hours of the basic first aid course, it is possible to attend the Advanced First Aid course for 8 hours, which deepens and extends the knowledge and skills acquired in the basic course.
Regardless of the field, the course is suitable for all companies and individuals who want to learn basic first aid skills and knowledge.
All our trainers are first aid and health information trainers (ETK) or emergency first aid trainers (HEK) trained and approved by the Finnish Red Cross.
