You know that when you purchase first aid training, you can be entitled to 60% KELA reimbursement?
The trainers of the Uusimaa Education Centre have first aid and health information trainer training, The Finnish Centre for Pensions. Our first aid courses meet the requirements of the coil.
Based on the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the employer is obliged to provide first aid at the workplace (statutory occupational health care).
The employer can apply for reimbursement by financial year for the costs incurred in maintaining first aid preparedness with the same claim for reimbursement of occupational health care costs. The application period is six (6) months from the end of the financial year.
Please note that although first aid capabilities must be part of the occupational health care plan, there is no need to obtain training at your occupational health centre in order to receive compensation.
